Maine Arts Scene is promoting Maine artists in new and enterprising ways. At the moment their website is premiering the first statewide online showcase of Maine professional music performers.
This showcase features a wide variety of musical genres from all across the state, and serves to help Maine professional songwriters, vocalists, musicians and composers gain greater visibility. The audience will have a chance to listen to favorite music performers, be introduced to new artists and learn about upcoming performances and how to purchase CDs from performers.
Following this exhibition, Maine Art Scene will continue to launch a series of multi-disciplinary virtual art showcases; the next showcase in this series will be for Maine painters and sculptors.
