The final details for the Maine International Conference on arts and Culture, Strengthen the Core, are being put together right now. One of the key aspects of this conference is that we are bringing performing arts professionals together with artists to increase booking opportunities. In order for this to be a success we need artists to sign up now to be considered as showcasing artists during one of the four session of this three-day conference.
The conference will bring together over 500 artists, festival producers, organization representatives and members of the public. There will be over 30 professional development sessions available too. These will be free to artists selected to showcase as well as a $400 stipend and free entry to the entire three-day conference.
All performing artists will be considered to perform and this is not just for musicians. Other forms of art will be shown throughout the conference and calls for art will continue soon. Artists wanting to be considered should click here to apply.
