Neil Gershenfeld, Director of the Center for Bits and Atoms at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will be visiting Haystack from June 14-21 as part of the inaugural season with the new digital fabrication studio, fab lab. Establishing a fab lab at Haystack creates a regional location in Maine that is equipped with the latest technology, allowing access to machinery and expertise not readily available otherwise.
Neil, who has been a summer conference presenter and an artist in residence at Haystack, will be available to the media for photos, interviews, and to give tours of the fab lab.
