Craft Leadership Conference Comes to Portland in June

The Maine Craft Association is hosting the Craft Organization Development Association (CODA) Conference in Portland from June 8 to June 11. Scholarships are still available.

The conference, titled, Connecting the dots...collaborating...fundraising...telling your story… offers craft organization professionals training to better market their organizations, grow membership, expand services, attract customers and connect to funders. The 2011 CODA conference, held at the Eastland Park Hotel, is located in the heart of downtown Portland’s acclaimed arts and shopping district. Executive Directors, Education Coordinators, Public Relations Directors, Development Officers, Arts Administrators, Board of Directors and Craft Professionals alike, will benefit from this specialized, intensive craft-oriented conference in a beautiful coastal Maine setting.Keynote Speaker Andy Goodman (above), a communications consultant and trainer based in Los Angeles, specializes in helping nonprofits, foundations, government agencies and educational institutions communicate more effectively through print, broadcast media, and the Internet.
