Announcing the Ninth Annual Widening the Circle Conference

Scholarships Available Now!

The Ninth Annual Widening the Circle conference for Teaching Artists will be held on Thursday, September 23 in Brattleboro, Vermont. Sponsored by the New England Consortium of Artist- Educator Professionals (NECAP), the annual conference is an opportunity for teaching artists from across New England to gather for professional development workshops and networking.

This year the Maine Arts Commission is offering 50 percent scholarships for the first 10 Maine resident teaching artists to register before September 7. Those interested in this scholarship opportunity should contact the Maine Arts Commission’s Arts in Education associate, John Holdridge, at john.holdridge@maine.gov.
