Sculpture Symposium Documentary Premiere

The Schoodic International Sculpture Symposium is premiering a documentary about the symposium at 7:00pm on August 23 within Hammond Hall in Winter Harbor. In attendance will be Symposium coordinator/sculptor Jesse Salisbury and filmmaker Richard Kane.

The Schoodic Sculpture Symposium film documents seven of the world's finest stone sculptors from the USA (Maine), Germany, Poland, Sweden and Japan in a six week event on the beautiful coast of Maine with 450 million year old granite and basalt donated by local quarries. Featuring sculptors: Jesse Salisbury, Don Justin Meserve, Roy Patterson, Jo Kley, Ian Newbery, Dominika Griesgraber and Narihiro Uemura.
The screening is free and open to the public.
